Project management

Your whole project, in one place.

Tasks, planning, team, budget, risks and documents live in one application. OpenSprint is built for project managers who need to know every morning where the project stands, and what is slipping.

The app interface is currently available in French.

Diagram: your project at the center (progress 64%), linked to its eight modules (projects and tasks, planning, team, budget, tracking, communication, risks, documents) that exchange with it continuously.

The problem

Tasks live in one tool, the budget in a spreadsheet, risks in a document nobody opens. Every status meeting starts by gathering scattered numbers. OpenSprint brings the whole project back to one place.

How it works

From plan to decision, without switching tools

Four steps, one workspace: what you plan is what you run, track and decide on.

Plan

A readable plan, a visible critical path

Backlog, sprints, milestones and timeline: the plan takes shape and the critical path appears.

  • Backlog and sprints
  • Milestones and timeline
  • Gantt chart and critical path

Timeline mockup: six rows of epics and sprints, two steps on the critical path, a “Closed beta” milestone and the “Today” line.

Demo data.

Run

Work moves forward, everyone sees it

The Kanban board tracks work in real time; each ticket keeps its comments, attachments and dependencies.

  • Real-time Kanban board
  • Comments, attachments, dependencies
  • Subtasks and custom fields

Kanban board mockup: ticket OS-11 “Offline mode” moves from the “In progress” column to “Done”; the counters and its status update.

Track

Numbers that consolidate themselves

Progress, burndown and budget read at a glance, with no spreadsheet to consolidate.

  • Overall progress and burndown
  • Budget and overrun alerts
  • PDF, Excel and weekly email reports

Dashboard mockup: progress 64%, sprint burndown curve, budget 72% used (€43,200 of €60,000), two overdue tickets, sprint deadline in 4 days and 186 hours logged.

Decide

Decisions based on facts

Risks and variances surface with their level, so you decide on facts.

  • Probability × impact matrix
  • Each level flagged by a label
  • Budget overrun alert

Risk matrix mockup: risk R-03 “App store approval delay” moves from a critical cell (probability 4, impact 5) to a moderate cell (probability 2, impact 4) after mitigation; a budget alert flags an expected 4% overrun on the Design work package.

Modules

Eight modules, one grammar

Task tools often stop at tasks. Budget, risks and documents end up in other files. OpenSprint keeps the whole project lifecycle in one interface, with the same screens and the same vocabulary.

Projects & tasks

Kanban board, filterable list view, subtasks, dependencies, labels and custom fields. Each ticket gathers its comments, attachments and history.

Planning

Backlog and sprints with burndown, timeline and Gantt chart with critical path, milestones.

Team & resources

Members and roles per project, time tracking and everyone's workload. The interface shows each person what they can do.

Budget

Expenses, forecasts and overrun alerts, tracked project by project.

Tracking & dashboards

Overall progress, tickets by status, deadlines, reports exportable as PDF and Excel, and a weekly report sent by email.

Communication

Comments with mentions, real-time and email notifications, deadline reminders.

Risks

Risk register and probability × impact matrix, each level flagged by a label, never by color alone.

Documents

File repository with version history, and attachments on every ticket.

Roles

Everyone sees what they need

Four roles per project: owner, manager, member and viewer. The interface only shows the actions that are allowed.

Owner & manager

Steer the project: planning, budget, risks, reports.

PlanBudgetRisksReports

Member

Moves their tickets forward, comments, logs their time.

Viewer

Follows progress without changing anything: ideal for a client.

ViewRead-only

Leadership

Reads the dashboard and the weekly report by email.

  • Discord

Deadline reminders and periodic reports posted in a channel.

  • Claude

Claude connects to OpenSprint through MCP to view and create tasks, sprints, risks and pages, with your permissions.
